How this works

The short version

PKADB indexes every film and show the hosts of Painkiller Already discuss, then attributes each opinion to the host who actually said it — verified from the episode audio, not guessed.

How an opinion gets here

1Transcribe
Every episode's audio is transcribed with timestamps.
2Extract
An AI pass pulls out each film/show discussion, the speaker's stance, and a verbatim quote.
3Classify
Opinions about the work itself count; news, controversy, and passing mentions are flagged and excluded from scores.
4Voice-verify
Each quote's audio is matched against voiceprints of Woody, Kyle, and Taylor. Close calls abstain rather than guess.

The PKA Score

A 0–10 measure of how positively the hosts spoke about a title — an enjoyment score, not a critical rating, so acclaimed-but-grim films can land low. Titles with few takes are pulled toward the average until they earn confidence. Taylor scores out of 7 🦉.

Honesty notes

Transcripts and AI extraction aren't perfect. Every claim links to the exact moment in the episode so you can check it yourself. Attributions the voice model isn't confident about are labeled "likely." This is a fan project, not affiliated with Painkiller Already.
